Welcome to the Sailor Moon Reader's Choice Fanfiction Awards!
Here is where Sailor Moon fanfiction fans gather together to show our appreciation for our favourite Sailor Moon fanfiction stories. This contest is all reader's choice, so it's not a panel or a group that decides what is best, but it's determined by all Sailor Moon fanfiction fans. These awards are conducted annually, in a three-step process.
First, we nominate by category our favourites for the year. Each nomination must be seconded by another reader and accepted by the author in order to enter the official voting and competition. Secondly, we open up the voting booth, and all nominations that make official entry are voted on and tallied. Finally, we announce the winners and celebrate. We hope to see all Sailor Moon fanfiction fans participating and reaping the benefits of gathering together to show our appreciation of those who volunteer their time to entertain us with our favourite characters for free each year.

| I'm happy to announce we have our EIGHTH qualified category for the 2006 SMRC - Humor!
Qualified Categories now include:
* Author of the Year
* Drabbles
* Drama
* Humor
* On-going
* One-shots
* Romance/WAFF
* Usagi and Mamoru Romance/WAFF
ALL OF THE OTHER CATEGORIES have not yet qualified (but many of them are very close) so make sure you send in seconds for the stories you think deserve to compete this year!

| Seconds only OPEN until June 15! 05 Jun 2007
| Okay everybody, we're almost done with the nomination phase.
You now have until June 15 to SECOND all of the stories that have yet to qualify! As of June 15, the nominations booth will close completely and all entries that haven't been seconded and/or accepted will be DISQUALIFIED! Oh nos!
So, how can you prevent that from happening? Simple.
Have a look through the fanfics that have been nominated in each category and if you see one that hasn't been seconded, fill out this short form to give it your stamp of approval!

* Angst/Darkfic
